The landscape, nature, and culture of the Dakotas are remarkably beautiful.  Through my art, I hope to capture all of that on canvas.


Kevin's passion to create art sprung from time spent on a family farm in central Missouri.  Growing up in a rural Osage County with abundant lakes, ponds, rivers and woods led to a keen interest in hunting and fishing. The spark to be an artist came from seeing wildlife art on the cover of fishing magazines. Kevin was profoundly impressed that art could generate the feeling and excitement of being there. He purchased a paint set, and the journey of a lifetime began.

Kevin was introduced to South Dakota and the Black Hills by his wife, Penny.  He was immediately taken by the wild, rugged and unspoiled beauty of the Dakota landscape.
