Anna Achtziger

Artist of the Black Hills member Anna Achtziger

I am a lifelong "rockaholic" and I bring that passion, along with the essences of both my Native American and Celtic heritage, to my highly distinctive beadwrok artistry.

That passion applies, as well, to my unique wood turned vessels, covered in beads.

"I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells.  Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope.  Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities."

                                                                         Dr. Seuss
